As we become immersed in the holiday season, our hearts are filled with memories of our loved ones no longer on this earth, but still with us in spirit and in love. This might be family members, friends or our pets.
This year we may find additional grief residing in our hearts from the Covid experience - a deep sense of loss of experiences.
We may have lost the experience of graduations, weddings, celebrations of the life of a loved one who has passed.
We may feel the emptiness of cancelled vacation plans, missed parties and family reunions, the loss anticipation of a special trip or simply dropping in on neighbors.
This will be a quiet, introspection time to prepare us to incorporate our grief and sadness with the joy of the season.
Joy and Sadness are not an either/or proposition. It is about being present with all of our emotions.
The service will be a live ZOOM gathering. Zoom Link is posted on the USCL discussion group page or email firstname.lastname@example.org for the link.
