The 2026 Nominating Team, chaired by Greg Dening, Board Rep Chrissie Shearer, Congregation Rep LuAnne Champion and minister Rev. Sharon Ketchum, presented a slate of nominees of Jeff Benoit and Jill Dening to fill two open seats on the Board of Trustees. This slate was then adopted by the Board of Trustees. (Jeff and Jill abstained from voting.)

This year, Jeff completes his first term on the Board of Trustees, serving as Vice President.
Jeff facilitates our administrative team as well as our Event Rental Team.
Under his leadership, our building has helped us become a great partner with other community organizations
as well as increasing our rental income stream to a prosperity level that eliminated any deficit in 2025 and created a positive cash flow.

This year, Jill is completing her first term on the Board of Trustees, serving as Secretary.
Jill has been an active member of Unity since we were located on Marshall Street.
She has been active on a number of our ministry teams - Earthcare, Hospitality, Tech Team and more.
She brings wonderful skills with details and organization. She also works closely with Jeff Benoit on the Venue Rental Team
